Algerian insurance companies are scrutinized by supervisory authorities
The insurance supervision commission (CSA) of the ministry of finance has now required an external audit of the market's insurance companies. The supervisor is willing to harmonize the methods of calculating the technical provisions and make the data provided by insurers more reliable.
This decision was served to the insurance companies by mail. The audit report shall be submitted to the commission no later than 31 May 2017.
