Anna Malan, AGCS’s new Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager

Anna Malan, 44, has been appointed Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) for the Mediterranean region (France, Italy, Spain and Benelux).

Malan is a graduate of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Paris Nanterre. She also holds the “qualifying certificate for the practice of law” (CAPA).

The new manager started her career in 1996 as an international lawyer with a law firm in Russia. From 1998 until 2012, she successively held positions with Sberinvest, OECD, CAT (a subsidiary of Renault) and Europe Assistance.

In 2013, she joined AXA Partners as Deputy Legal Counsel and in 2017 she became Manager of the Travel Insurance activity. Based in Paris, the new recruit shall report to Thomas Bruendler, Legal Counsel and Regional Compliance Manager and to Patrick Thiels, General Manager for the Mediterranean region.
