Aon markets an Ebola cover

The insurance broker, Aon, will sell a liability cover for Ebola-linked cases to hospitals and other health care institutions. It protects the establishment in case of dispute with contaminated patient or staff member or with a contaminated person to whom the access to the hospital has been denied.

This new product come as a complement to the exclusion clause "Special Ebola", recently added to contracts by insurers.

According to the broker's release, subscribers are covered up to 25 million USD.

Note that this insurance, developed incollaboration with Hiscox, is currently avalaible only on the U.S. market.
