Atlanta, 2014 results up sharply

The Moroccan insurance company, Atlanta, published a net profit of 101 million MAD (11.21 million USD) in 2014, up by 81.3% compared to 2013. The turnover increased by 11.2% at 1.6 billion MAD (177 million USD).

The company takes advantage of the good performance of both life and non life insurance that reached 12.9% and 11% respectively in a year.

Together the two companies of Holmarcom group, namely Atlanta and Sanad, recorded a consolidated net profit of 174 million MAD (19 million USD), an increase of 58% compared to 2013.

The consolidated turnover, for its part, crosses the threshold of three billion to reach 3.15 billion MAD (350 million USD).

Thanks to the distribution of products through the bancassurance network, the life class of business grew by 17%. As for the non life class of business, it gained 7.6%.
