Atlanta Assurances: Solid results in 2019

Atlanta Assurances reported a turnover of 2.664 billion MAD (274.54 million USD) in 2019 against 2.432 billion MAD (254.3 million USD) in 2018, an increase of 9.5% in one year.

Life insurance grew 8.7% to 523 million MAD (53.9 million USD) compared to 481 million MAD (50.29 million USD) of premiums in 2018. This increase is mainly accounted for by the business dynamics of CIH Bank, partner of Atlanta.

Non-life premiums amounted to 2.141 billion MAD (22.06 million USD), up 9.7% compared to one year ago.

The Moroccan insurer recorded a consolidated net profit of 373 million MAD (38.44 million USD), increasing by 76.5% in comparison with 2018. For its partn the technical result grew by 41.7% to reach 335 million MAD (34.5 million USD).

Thanks to this good performance, the company has managed to achieve the growth prospects set by its 2018-2020 strategic plan "Massar Attafaouk II".
