Aveni Re, the 2009 results

Aveni Re has posted excellent 2009 results. The company, which has almost tripled its turnover in five years, reported 6.567 billion FCFA (14.6 million USD) of written premiums in 2008, compared to 6.087 billion FCFA (13.4 million USD) in 2008. The loss ratio is of 56% and the combined ratio is 96%. At 532 million FCFA (1.18 million USD) in 2009, the net profit rose by 29% in comparison with 2008.
