Axa Assurance Maroc, 2014 results

Axa Assurance Maroc has published its results for the year 2014. The Moroccan insurer's premiums stand at 3.65 billion MAD (405 million USD).

Net profit increased by 7% in 2014. It amounted to 397 million MAD (44 million USD) against 371 million MAD (46 million USD) in 2013.

Regarding the classes of business, non life insurance totaled 2.76 billion MAD (306 million USD ) of premiums with 47% of underwritings stemming solely from motor insurance. As for life operations, they recorded 887 million MAD (98 million USD) of contributions.

Active since 2000, Axa Assurance Maroc is the third insurer in the domestic market with a market share of about 13% in terms of premiums. The company has a network of over 200 branches.
