AXA Gulf has created a SME-dedicated unit in Dubai

AXA Gulf has opened an insurance unit specially dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SME) in Dubai.

The role of the new structure is to get closer to SMEs by providing them with consultancy and advisory services to enable them to assess the type of cover they shall need, according to their activity-linked risks.

In order to achieve this objective, a team of experts within the unit will be available for SME's owners to "analyze their specific requirements and provide adequate prevention and protection measures", said Jérôme Droesch, CEO of AXA Gulf.

Note that the launch of this special unit has been decided after a survey conducted by AXA with SMEs, revealing their lack of confidence in insurers and their issue to gauge the importance of a specific insurance for their activity.
