Bad weather: 5.7 billion USD of insured losses

According to Impact Forecasting, a research center, the extreme weather events that have taken place during the first quarter of 2017 in the United States are likely to trigger insured losses worth nearly 5.7 billion USD.

The storms registered in the single month of March have caused more than 2 billion USD in economic losses.
