During its meeting on October 19, 2004, Best Reinsurance’s Board of Directors decided to increase its capital by 10 million USD to be written in cash and released before December 25, 2004. The new capital will amount to 55 million USD. In 2003, the company reported 4 213 571 USD in profit and distributed a 6%-dividend. For the year 2004, the amount of written premiums is estimated at 72 million USD.
