Caarama Assurance launches "Hayati"

Caarama Assurance, a subsidiary of the Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR) has launched a new personal accident insurance offer. Called "Hayati", the product is aimed at customers based both in Algeria and abroad. The Hayati range includes several products including all ages and social categories: Pro (professions), Family (for families), Duo (for couples), Solo (for employees) and Junior (for pupils and students).

On the sidelines of the launch of this new offer, the Algerian insurer has also announced adjustments to its key product "Djemaatna". The repayments of the stated offer are thus substantially improved. Moreover, the guarantee now offers a package to cover medical expenses associated with certain serious diseases such as stroke, heart attack and cancer.

Thanks to these innovations, Caarama Assurance intends to attract and retain more members. For the year 2015, the insurer targets a turnover of 2.1 billion DZD (19.59 million USD). In the previous year, it already collected 1.5 billion DZD (17.15 million USD) in premiums.
