Car hijackings are decreasing

Car hijackings, which cost the South African insurance business 350 million ZAR (57 490 000 USD) per year, reported a 33% decrease last year. This result has been reached thanks to police actions and to the more restrictive measures pertaining to car registrations which discourage the sale of stolen cars.
