CARTE Assurances and CARTE Vie: 2021 results

The Tunisian-European Insurance and Reinsurance Company (CARTE) is publishing the financial statements of its life and non-life subsidiaries, as at 31 December 2021.

The non-life company, CARTE Assurances, has recorded a turnover of 132.022 million TND (45.8 million USD), increasing by 4% compared to 2020. The net result has gone from 12.5 million TND (4.6 million USD) in 2020 to 9.41 million TND (3.3 million USD) in 2021, decreasing by 24.7% over a year.

Meanwhile, CARTE Vie has posted 66.072 million TND (22.3 million USD) of written premiums in 2021, declining by 12.8% over a year. The net profit has increased by 7% to reach 9.3 million TND (3.2 million USD).
