CCR Re: turnover increase in H1 2021
CCR Re, the reinsurance subsidiary of the “Caisse Centrale de Réassurance” (CCR), has achieved a 22% increase in its turnover during H1 2021.
Gross written premiums went from 545 million EUR (612.974 million USD) as of 30 June 2020 to 665 million EUR (791.628 million USD) one year later.
The French reinsurer’s technical profitability has been slightly impacted by the pandemic and the disasters.
The combined ratio of 97% is in line with the Streamline plan (2020-2022). The solvency ratio of 200% meets the company's expectations.
