CFC Stanbic is splitting up its life and non-life operations

CFC stanbic has separated its life and non-life activities out in order to meet the new regulatory requirements and to pave the way for its listing on the stock market. CFC Life Assurance will underwrite only life policies and Heritage insurance, non-life business. Last April, CFC Stanbic had already ceded its insurance operations to the holding company CFC Insurance Holding. This reorganization is part of a strategy conducted by CFC Stanbic in order to list separately the two life and non-life entities in the stock market.
