Chinese insurance market, increasing turnover in 2018

ChinaThe Chinese insurance market ended the year 2018 with a turnover worth 3 800 billion CNY (567 billion USD), that is an increase of 3.92% compared to the previous year.

Property insurance premiums rose by 11.52% to reach 1 180 billion CNY (175 billion USD). On the other hand, life insurance turnover reported a slight increase of 0.85% to stand at 2 600 billion CNY (385 billion USD) in 2018.
