CNMA, focus on strategic cultures

According to its CEO, Cherif Benhabiles, the 2014-2017 plan of the "Caisse nationale de mutualité agricole" (CNMA) includes "the implementation of new products focused on returns and climatic indicators". This includes the provision of "more suited" financial tools (microinsurance, income insurance) for agricultural stakeholders. A launch of products "provided primarily to strategic cultures" should take place in this context before the end of the year.

The CNMA has also reported that in addition to a local recruitment policy, 400 of its agents are actually trained for the opening of fifty local offices in enclaved areas of the country.

As a reminder, the CNMA already has 66 regional fund and 367 local offices.
