Compulsory health insurance for visitors, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia "under observation"

Kuwait and Saudi Arabia may be the initiators of a major reform in the Gulf countries.

According to a report from the International Medical Travel Journal, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, would be very mindful of the impact of compulsory health insurance for visitors on the economies of the two monarchies.

Upon successful completion of the system, countries in the region would step then in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
