Consolidation of the insurance sector's regulatory systems

Confronted with the challenges of the world's financial crisis, the federal government is advocating the consolidation of the insurance sector's regulatory systems. For the supervising authority, it is all about redesigning the principles, the practices and the regulatory mechanism in order to ensure the sustainability and the solidity of an industry undergoing an overall restructuring.
Although the sector has, so far, been spared, all players are aware of the need to be doubly vigilant in order to support operations and corporate growth by working on major obstacles, that is, unfair practices as regards tariff and management expenses.
