Continental Re is about to finalize its capital increase

Continental Re is about to finalize its capital increase from 2 billion NGN (15.6 million USD) to 9.5 billion NGN (75 million USD). The company has signed a protocol of agreement with Globe Re for the investment of 6 billions in ordinary shares. In addition, negotiations with new investors should, in principle, materialize before the end of November 2006.
