COTUNACE: results 2021

The Compagnie Tunisienne pour l’Assurance du Commerce Extérieur (COTUNACE) has closed the year 2021 with a 14.8% turnover increase. The written premiums have increased from 12.165 million TND (4.5 million USD) as of 31 December 2020 to 13.966 million TND (4.8 million USD) one year later.

The incurred losses of 9.481 million TND (3.2 million USD) fell by 10.6% compared to 10.609 million TND (3.9 million USD) in 2020.

The net results of 2021 amounted to 4.208 million TND (1.4 million USD) compared to 5.969 million TND (2.2 million USD) in 2020, that is a decrease of 29.5% over one year.

With 53.518 million TND (18.5 million USD), the company's equity increased by 7% compared to 2020. The share capital remains unchanged at 26.5 million TND (9.1 million USD).

The Tunisian insurer suggested the distribution of a dividend of 2 TND (0.6 USD) per share for the year 2021.
