Covea is targeting the British Provident Insurance

Covea, a leading personal lines insurer, is intent on moving closer to the British insurer, Provident Insurance. According to the Echos newspaper, the French company may have entered into direct negotiations with its rival across the Channel. Present in 40 countries, Provident Insurance is currently supported by the American group of financial services GMAC. The amount of the takeover could amount to 84 million EUR (117.7 million USD).
