Creation of a captive insurance company to finance the project Bahrain Financial Harbour

The first of its kind in the Middle-East. The Islamic bank of investment based in Bahrain namely Gulf Finances House (GFH), founded a captive insurance company to deal with the project Bahrain Financial Harbour project in which it is a major investor. This operation is in line with the BMA (Bahrain Monetary Agency) policy to promote Bahrain as a regional centre for insurance captive activity.

Recall: Financial Harbour is a major project with a budget of 2.6 billion USD. The financial centre will be built in Mina Manama and will lodge financial establishments, insurances and several leisure centres.
