Credit insurance, Coface gets its license

Coface has obtained the approval of Moroccan authorities to sell credit insurance solutions to local companies.

Present in the Moroccan territory since 2007 and based at the Casablanca Finance City (CFC) since the beginning of this year, the French credit insurer was only selling collection and information services.

"We are targeting Africa, a highly strategic region where Coface maintains its leadership: today Coface is established in 14 African countries and is sthrenghtening its Pan-African network's leading-position. Morocco is the center of our regional ambitions", said Jean-Marc Pillu, managing director of Coface.
