Distribution of insurance by phone and tablet booming

The sales of insurance policies through mobile devices (tablets, phones) will likely reach 68.3 million USD of turnover in 2014, that is an increase of 35% compared to 2013. Insurers invest heavily on these communication tools and equip their agents to integrate these technologies.

This is the case of most life insurers in the private sector. This modernization of the distribution mode allows to reach even distant customers, accelerate the sales process and improve productivity. In some companies, agents using traditional sales tools do not exceed 20%.
Applications available on tablets also help agents in the management of policies underwritten and allow them to obtain statistics on their portfolio.
