Draft bill governing takaful insurance

End of April 2014, the ministry of economy and finance has submitted to the Government a bill authorizing the insurance business based on Islamic principles.

This project is part of the ongoing reform of the insurance sector. It will then be submitted to Parliament for adoption.
According to a study by AlHuda Center of Islamic Banking and Economics from January 2014, activities related to Islamic finance should be a success in Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal .
