Establishment, in July 2006, of a regulatory body in charge of the insurance sector
During the 20th annual conference of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), the authorities have announced the setting up, as of the month of July 2006, a regulatory body in charge of the insurance business. This measure aims at making the business more ethical and defending the insured's interests.
