Towards the establishment of an agricultural insurance company in Guinea
The development of the Guinean insurance market is one of the main topics discussed during the 40th ordinary general meeting of the African Reinsurance Company (Africa Re) held from 19 to 21 June 2018 in Conakry (Guinea).
The creation of an agricultural insurance company is one of this meeting's proposals.
It should be noted that Guinea reported a turnover of 352 billion GNF (39.25 million USD) in 2017, against 315 billion GNF (33.89 million USD) in 2016.
