Estimates of insured losses due to windstorm Xaver revised upwards
According to the 3rd estimate of bureau d'études Perils AG, insured losses consecutives to the windstorm Xaver would amount to 1.03 billion USD.
The windstorm Xaver hit the North and West of Europe on 5 and 6 December 2013, with a maximum loss recorded in Denmark, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway and Sweden.
Note that Perils will provide a 4th estimate of the windstorm damage on December,5 2014.
