Euler Hermes has arrived in South Africa

The insurer Euler Hermes, global credit insurance leader has recently been established in South Africa.
The new office is designed for the company to get closer to the target markets located in Southern Africa. The company, Allianz subsidiary, is overtly keen on the markets in Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia.

In South Africa, Euler Hermes is required to square it off with the local insurer, Credit Guarantee Insurance, and also with Coface, Lombard Credit Insurance and with Credit Insurance Solution.

Euler Hermes is attempting to conquer the second position in the South African market in five to eight years’ time. The company has posted a global turnover of 2.5 billion EUR (3 billion USD) in 2014.
