Extending the banks’ rights

Banks succeeded in amending the 16th of August decree which used to restrict to 30% their participation in companies' capital. Henceforth, banks are authorized to hold the total capital of stock companies, service companies and that of risk capital firms. Banks can create and control up to 100% of captive brokerage firms, and thus, continuing to operate in the insurance market.
