Flight MH370, further 25% to be paid for Malaysian insurers

According to Vincent Kwo, president of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), the total compensation of the 184 passengers covered by Malaysian companies is 5.8 million USD. A total of which would remain 24% to be paid, following the previous payments totaling 4.4 million USD to date.

V. Kwo noted that the payment of the remaining compensation will take place in the same way as the previous settlements, and families are invited to inquire from the LIAM in case of doubts about the insurance policies taken out by their relatives.
