For setting a limit in motor TPL prices

The Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen(TESK) has urged the government to determine the minimum and maximum premium rates for compulsory motor third party liability insurance. Since the liberalization of rates in January 2014, insurers have been free to set their own prices considered very high by policyholders.

To overcome this situation, the Government has undertaken to revise some laws regulating the class of business. The amendments relate mainly to medical expenses, permanent disability costs and coverage for property damage.
