Forbes 2000: Top 20 of the largest insurers
In 2018, insurance and reinsurance companies strengthened their positions in the ranking.
The Chinese group Ping An Insurance, maintained for the second consecutive year its place as the first insurance company. Ranked 16th on the global 2017 ranking, it became the 10th in 2018. Allianz was the second largest insurance company, ranking 22nd worldwide.
UnitedHealth Group held the third place on the podium, and the 28th place in the global ranking.
