Generali is looking to Asia and Eastern Europe

Generali, the third European insurer, has achieved a good 2011 first quarter despite a decline of 8.3% of its written premiums. The group has voiced its plan to increase its activities without ruling out possible acquisitions. Countries in Asia and Eastern Europe are mainly targeted.
