Ghana Reinsurance, increasing net profit in 2013

Ghana Reinsurance Company (GRCL) has achieved a net profit up by 50% at 12.5 million USD in 2013.

The Ghanian reinsurer has managed to negociate its two main priorities: the strenghtening of its capital and its expansion in Africa.

According to Lionel Molbila, chairman of GRCL's Board, the increasing underwriting capacity of the reinsurer will allow the company to boost the activities of its Kenya and Cameroon offices and develop new markets.
