Groupama is boosted to the rank of fifth property insurer on the Turkish market

Following the takeover of the company Guven Sigorta for the sum of 180 million EUR (248 million USD), the French mutualist is boosted to the rank of fifth property insurer on the Turkish market. Groupama is also the second life insurer on the same market. For 2007, Guven Sigorta posted a non life turnover of 115 million EUR (158 million USD) while its life subsidiary reported only a premium volume of 13 million EUR (18 million USD) for the same period.
