Gulf General Cooperative Insurance: results as of 31 March 2022
Gulf General Cooperative Insurance has recorded a 13.7% increase in its turnover in the first quarter of 2022. The premiums increased from 130.064 million SAR (34.6 million USD) as of 31 March 2021 to 147.916 million SAR (39.38 million USD) one year later.
At the end of March 2022, the Saudi insurer posted a net loss before zakat of 18.07 million SAR (4.8 million USD) compared to a loss of 23.413 million SAR (6.2 million USD) one year earlier.
The incurred losses amounted to 52.881 million SAR (14.08 million USD) during Q1 2022, up by 2.43% compared to 51.626 million SAR (13.75 million USD) disbursed as of 31 March 2021.
