Health insurance plan for Kuwaiti residents over 60

The Kuwait Insurance Federation is proposing to set up a health insurance scheme for residents aged over 60. According to the project, the amount of coverage should be capped at 10 000 KWD (32 913 USD). The annual premium for the policy would be 500 KWD (1 645 USD).

However, 39 medical services are excluded from the coverage including dental care, Alzheimer's disease, personal services within the hospital (phone calls, newspapers and magazines.), etc.

The health insurance company must be listed on the stock exchange.
