Human toll record for the disaster in Soma

The final report of the accident of May 13 in the coal mine of Soma amounted to 301 deaths. It makes of this incident the deadliest industrial disaster ever recorded in the country.

No information about the compensation of the injured and the families of deceased workers, has yet been revealed.
