Improved rating of the reinsurer Africa Re

The rating of the reinsurer Africa Re has been improved by Standard & Poor's. The credit and financial soundness ratings have been upgraded from BBB+ to A- with stable outlook.
S&P justifies the change of rating by the reinsurer's excellent competitive position on the African continent along with stable and positive statement of income. S&P has also underscored Africa Re's solid capitalization.
