Increase in TPL motor tariffs

Since 1st October 2015, the tariffs of motor third party liability policies have increased in Saudi Arabia. Henceforth, the premium claimed for the coverage of private vehicles amounts to 1500 SAR (401 USD) against 590 SAR (158 USD) a year earlier, that is an increase more than 150%.

Coverage of young drivers, i.e, those aged under 21 ranges now between 2400 SAR (641 USD) and 2800 SAR (748 USD). Finally, insurance of heavy vehicles varies between 2400 SAR (641 USD) and 3880 SAR (1036 USD).
