Increasing fire and industrial properties’ losses in Turkey

The number of explosions and fires recorded on Turkish industrial sites is ever-increasing year by year. This is causing more and more human and material losses.

Most incidents take place in facilities close to residential areas such as Istanbul.

The insured losses are expected to reach nearly 500 million TRY (67 million USD) per year.

Fire insurance is not mandatory for the industrial properties in Turkey.
