This offer comes as a response to the crisis caused by the appearance of the Ebola virus. ARC is an insurance pool designed to address natural catastrophe risks whose members are African States. ARC is currently operational in five countries against drought, hoping to include in its portfolio 12 countries within the next two years. This commitment to the coverage of epidemics which results from the demands expressed by certain States requires the establishment of new actuarial models.
