Insured losses stemming from the 2015 December storms estimated at 2 billion USD

According to the broker Aon Benfield, the storms that hit southern United States, on December 2015, could generate more than 2 billion USD in insured losses. This figure has brought the amount of economic losses related to storms and hurricanes risks at 4 billion USD for the whole month of December.

Sine the beginning of January 2016, floods have continued to plague the southern United States, particularly in Tennessee.
