Insurers are asking for the rise of motor third party liability tariffs

The Motor third party liability accounts for the third of all claims reported by insurers. The going tariffs are the result of bargaining between transportation unions, the government, the regulatory authorities and insurance companies. Following the clear deterioration of loss ratio, insurers are demanding that rates be revised upwards. Trade unions are not willing to negotiate any rise.
