Insurers are training sales staff

The Japanese insurance companies are reinforcing their salesmen networks in order to develop their portfolios abroad. The personnel, mostly female , is sent to subsidiaries outside Japan to attend seminars and participate in internships. The Japanese insurers hope to capture new business mainly from Asia. This policy has already been implemented by Nippon Life and Dai-ichi Life and stands among Tokyo Marine & Nichido Fire’s strategic priorities.
