Insurers rely on the middle class

Driven by the development of African economies, the average wage growth could cause an increase in insurers’ revenues. Growth in demand is expected to be felt particularly in life insurance. The enrichment of the middle class makes people more receptive to insurance. The increase of the insurance penetration rate remains dependent on the affordability of products.
