Insurers required to restore trust

During the official inauguration of the annual congress for the Insurance Institute in early November, the vice president Joice Mujuru asked insurers to double their efforts in order to restore the confidence of Zimbabwean people in the sector. She is hoping that a strategy for this purpose will soon be outlined by the companies. Thousands of people remain skeptical toward insurers following the 2007-2008 devaluation which rendered life insurance policies worthless.
