Introduction of a legal cession on reinsurance treaties

The Gabonese Senate has been examining since June 8, 2017, the possible introduction of a legal cession on reinsurance treaties.
This initiative will, according to the minister of economy Noël Mboumba, increase local capacity and minimize capital outflows abroad.
It should be noted that Gabon has been applying, since 2012, a legal cession to the first franc on insurance policies.
